Large cosy living room with beautiful views over garden, with flat-screen television, couches and dining table. From the living room you can use the modern self-designed stairs (with railing not visible on picture) to the first floor. The spacious kitchen also has a large dining table and chairs, sink, ceramic hob and oven, microwave, extraction fan, dishwasher, American fridge with freezer compartment. Utility room with extra shower and for washing machine, vacuum cleaner and any other household equipment. There is wireless internet connection available.
There are total four bedrooms. There is one bedroom with two single beds on the ground floor with en suite bathroom with an Italian style walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. The remaining three bedrooms are on the first floor. The master bedroom with a large double bed, has a connecting bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and washbasin. This bedroom has access to a spacious roof terrace where you can drink your morning coffee or in the evening have a nice glass of wine. There are two bedrooms with a double bed and a bathroom in the hallway with bath / shower, sink and toilet.Fully south facing landscaped garden (2014) with a private swimming pool with built in roman stairs. The terrace of the villa is partially covered. The private pool is spacious and has a built in stairway.
Along the whole house and in the garden there is outdoor lighting for atmosphere during the evenings. The terrace at the house is tiled and trails around the house are gravel. On the terrace near the pool is a sun swing and various furniture that are handmade. In the garden is also a nice arbour with a lovely sitting area where you can enjoy a drink in the shadow. There is parking space for several cars outside.
The pool heater will only be turned on at the request of the tenant at the price of € 45,00 (travel costs and turning on and off).
This villa is beautifully situated in the village Oupia and has an exceptional view over the vineyards of the Minervois. Small shopping items you do at the nearby grocery store and bread shop. And really good shopping you do in Olonzac, which is only a few kilometres away. You can have your lunch or dinner at nice cosy restaurant L'Asphodèle in the village of Oupia.
The fantastic wide sandy beaches of Beziers and Narbonne are 45 minutes away and offer something to children of all ages ((kite-)surf and sailing lessons, carting, etc.). Carcassonne is the former capital of the Cathars. The impressive Cité houses the largest European medieval city and is a fascinating day trip (30-45 minutes away). Of course there is the fascinating nature for the active holiday seeker (mountain biking, race biking, running, hiking, canoeing, etc). And in the winter skiing in the Pyrenees is an option at 2 hours from the villa. Barcelona is a 2-3 hour trip away.
