Through the entrance you enter the hall. To the right there is an attractively furnished roomy lounge/dining room with French doors opening on to the covered patio. Includes two sofas, dresser, table and chairs, also a flatscreen television with digital satellite reception and a DVD/CD/stereo combination. The completely renovated spacious open kitchen offers every luxury to be desired: a large granite worktop, induction cooking plate with extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave oven, American fridge, coffee maker, Senseo and Nespresso machine.
Utility Room: Contains washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, and other kitchen equipment etc.
There are three bedrooms, of which two have doors opening onto the sun terrace and swimming pool. Beds: 7x single (90x200) with single duvets. There are two bathrooms, both with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. The house is also suitable for winter rentals, is insulated and centrally heated in all rooms, and has a woodfire.
Around the swimming pool with pool heater, are terraces with a barbecue, sunloungers en chairs. Moreover there is a large secluded terrace constructed over the whole width of the house. The mature garden is richly planted and the pool has a fence around it, creating a peaceful suntrap out of the wind. In short enough possibilities to take advantage of the sun or, if necessary, a cool spot in the shade. There is parking space under the large terrace.
The pool heater will only be turned on at the request of the tenant at the price of € 45,00 (travel costs and turning on and off).
Historic Chateau Beaufort lies in view and within walking distance of the house. The fantastic wide sandy beaches of Beziers and Narbonne are 45 minutes away and offer something to children of all ages ((kite-)surf and sailing lessons, carting, etc.). Carcassone is the former capital of the Cathars. The impressive Cité houses the largest European medieval city and is a fascinating day trip (30-45 minutes away). Of course there is the fascinating nature for the active holiday seeker (mountain biking, race biking, running, hiking, canoeing, etc). And in the winter skiing in the Pyrenees is an option at 2 hours from the villa. Barcelona is a 2-3 hour trip away.
